John “Butch” Wayne McIntire, age 68 of Zanesville, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024. He was born on April 28th, 1955. Butch attended Zanesville High School. Butch was a member of the Zanesville CMA Church.
Most notably, Butch spent his life dedicated to family. He provided for them and supported activities and interests of each of his kids through the years. He was a dedicated Father, Father-in-Law, Paw Paw, and friend and always made sure his kids and grandkids knew how much he loved them. Butch was always the first to share a funny meme and a loving note with those he cared for.
He is survived by: his children, Aaron (Erin) McIntire, Josh (Caitlyn) McIntire, Hannah (Thomas) Young, Lindsay McIntire, and Kara McIntire; his grandchildren, Drew, Declan, Carrigan, and Callum McIntire.
Butch was preceded in death by: his parents, Herbert Ralph and Phyllis Jean McIntire.
